Earn Billion Dollars in a Game

Spend Half Year Calculate Inheritance 1.2 Million Coins
A bank in Germany spends six months counting 1.2 million coins which is a legacy from a man to his family. Bundesbank officer, Wolfgang Kemereit, got the "heavy duty" that began counting the 2.5 tons of coins received by the bank in May.

The man who works as a driver was saving 1 pfenning (0.01 Deutsche Mark) and 2 pfenning (0.02 Deutsche Mark) for his family since 30 years ago. The man died at the beginning of the year and handed all the coins to his family.
Although Deutsche Marks money coins have been deprecated since the European currency, the Euro was introduced in 2002, the Bundesbank - which is the German central bank still recognizes the money. Banks usually use machines to count coins but this time it is impossible because most of the coins are rusty and sticky.
This causes Kemereit to count coins by hand and at the same time perform daily tasks. "I hold the coins one by one, I'm happy to do that and it's not a problem," he said as quoted by Oddity Central.
After all 1.2 million coins are calculated, the bank changes its value to the euro currency by a total of 8,000 Euros.
